Rimworld removed roof still there.

Even tried manually selecting every tile with a colonist to see if i had the option to force remove roof after doing so and nada. Continue this thread view entire discussion 10 comments. If i manage to get it running we might even have multiplayer. You could probably dig into the mountain about 5 tiles more as i think there is an overhang limit and you can keep adding no roof zones to it.

If i remove structure roof there is still the shadow appearance of something there. Drawing a remove roof zone will cause colonists to remove a. If it s an overhead mountain collapsing colonists will be buried alive. I think the second approach will let you force a colonists to remove a roof section but i don t think it will generate any tasks to do so automatically.

Just build as normal ignoring the block and when you have walls in that area remove the block. A build roof area will cause pawns to build a roof in the specified area. Therefore you can safely enable disable this mod at any time. It will still have a thick roof but it will now be supported by your buildings instead of the rock.

Still kind of annoying since that part of my building will always be darker than the rest because of the thick roof. This is useful for things like. Keep in mind each roof tile needs to be within 6 range of a wall to not collapse. They will remove it like any other roof.

There is one area i can t put a no roof zone too far into the mountain and when i mine some fallen roof blocks they just keep falling. You still have to wait for colonists to go and remove the roof segments or you can force them to with a right click on the roof section you want to remove after marking it as a no roof area.
