Rimworld roof zone.
They define their own space and cannot overlap other zones.
The priority of a stockpile or dumping stockpile can also be set there.

You cannot remove overhead mountain roofs.
Roof collapses cause injuries to colonists and damage items.
Don t remove entire walls if they re the only thing holding up a roof.
Orange overhead mountain yellow thin rock roof cyan constructed roof blue constructed steel roof teal constructed solar roof pink constructed transparent roof purple constructed transparent solar roof areabuildroof and arearemoveroof area zones.
Mark the entire area as a no roof zone and the roof keeps falling down.
The no roof zone will remove constructed and thin rock roofs from the selected tiles.

Designating such an area will also remove existing thin roofs and thin rock roofs when applied but thick rock roofs will remain intact.

Zones are groups of map tiles marked by the player and may be selected and configured.
When you select roof zoning you can see the colored draw area of all different roof types.
The build roof area allows the player to designate an area which will be covered by thin roofing once a surrounding wall is constructed.
The no roof area allows the player to designate an area which will not be covered by thin roofing once a surrounding wall is constructed.
If it s an overhead mountain collapsing colonists will be buried alive.
The content of any stockpile dumping stockpile or growing zone can be defined by selecting the zone and clicking the brown button that appears above the architect menu.
If you removed 2 entire walls and the corner between those two sides last then that roof was too far away from any other supports.

Also if u dont got a roof make them yourself with the zone tool i make half open shelters for the animals and for the defensive spots i also roofed em so my buddies dont gotta sit in the rain shooting at arse hats 10.
A pawn assigned to construction will automatically build the roof when there are enough structures in place to allow it.
A roof will collapse if the last supporting wall or rock is removed whether by mining deconstruction or destruction.
I ve zoned the entire room to be roofed but it says 8 tiles are still unroofed and i can t freaken find them.
Am i doing something wrong or misunderstanding something.
