Jul 21 2016 12 32pm removeing mountain roofs so i try to remove the mountain roofs so they don t collapse by declareing a no roof area but on some tiles it will never be possible to declare that area and if i let the roof collapse and remove the debris it just collapses again.
It s recommended to use the remove roof tool to remove the roof first before deconstructing the walls.

I think the second approach will let you force a colonists to remove a roof section but i don t think it will generate any tasks to do so automatically.

Leave some walls from the edge and take away it gently so that the colonist is not filled up.
You still have to wait for colonists to go and remove the roof segments or you can force them to with a right click on the roof section you want to remove after marking it as a no roof area.
