A retractable design wall for quilters my birthday present to me this year i can hardly wait until it is delivered.

The blocks are suppose to stick to it when one rolls it up for storage. I have a design wall that is a huge piece of batting tacked to a bright red wall. My homemade roll up design wall. I had the shelf already.

My homemade roll up design wall. Has anyone made a design board wall using a roll down window shade. It was in our dining room of our old house but it didn t fit in the new so i took it for my sewing room. It was made of some kind of roll down window shade with flannel on it.

I saw something like this at a quilt show once but couldn t afford to buy it. Roll up your project for transport or for protection when not designing.
