Rv Awning Lock Lever Broken

September 01 2009 08 27 58 pm i went to open and use my awning yesterday and found that the direction lever spring has broken.

Rv trailer awning is in rolled up position. Locking lever will not release when pulled forward by pull rod awning down. This is my awning roller lock 6 of 1 4 steel rod with 3 4. The rv is a fleetwood discovery model35m mfg 2005.
