Samsung Galaxy Tab Charge Problem

Using the original charger and cable usb c the device will not charge anymore.

I have a samsung galaxy tab a 16 gb white 8 0. When swithed off and connected to the charger it vibrates displays the circle with the charging arrow but does not start to charge showing charging. Display goes off and same repeats in 10 sec intervals. I have a weird problem with my tab s3.

I ordered the samsung recommended new cord and adapter. I totally agree with the problem of debris or lint inside the microusb port of the tablet or for that matter any device with a mini or microusb port. Galaxy tab a won t charge fix 4. Samsung said they couldn t help.
