Well spring is finally here and with summer just around the corner we thought we would share a quick tip for your sandals that may be too loose.
Sandal back strap too loose.
We recommend fitting the sandals so the arch hits in the right place of your foot even if this means having to cinch the straps a little tighter.
The sandal with a toe strap.
Now let s take a look at the sandal with a toe strap.
If the straps still feel too long you can always send them into our rechaco facility to have them shortened.
But they can be a bit difficult to fit because the straps hit different areas of the foot and it is not uncommon for one or more strap to be too tight or too loose.
And no need to run to the cobbler.
Walking is uncomfortable and we fear losing a shoe.
If your slingbacks are only slightly loose proceed to the next step.
These straps are self adhesive so just peel off the removable backing and stick them directly on the inside of the straps where it s loose.
Simply lay the strap flat on a surface you don t mind scuffing like a piece of wood.
Strappy sandals are adorable and key fashion piece in spring and summer.
Or most people just wrap the extra end of the strap around the heel leash.
Again the one on the left is for loosening and the one the right shows the straps and direction to pull for tightening.
That is really all there is to adjusting the sandal without a toe strap.
There are ways however to make adjustments so that your strappy shoes fit comfortably.
